“Leading for Advantage”
Welcome to the 9th Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) Annual Conference, to be held on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 November at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham. Over 180 key staff, principals, chairs of governors, pupils and special guests are invited to attend from across the OAT family, as well as from academies nearing conversion or transfer.
Book your place by 5pm Friday 4 October.
This year’s conference will focus on Leading for Advantage. Across the Trust we know there is a range of challenges around ‘disadvantage’ that schools currently face – some determined by geography, and others that are common to all, and we as a Trust need to improve the way we tackle those inequalities in our schools so we can make a difference to those young people and ensure they can fulfil their potential.
Across the two days the conference will provide the OAT family network with the opportunity to debate, discuss, share ideas and good practice to drive forward school improvements in every area. The conference will host some great speakers, workshops, training and discussions. We look forward to you joining us.
