Performers

Jacob

Jacob C, conference performer

Jacob, a Year 10 student from City of Norwich School (CNS), has been playing electric guitar for nearly three years and is a self-taught musician. He finds guitar uniquely exciting, preferring its learning process and expressive possibilities over other instruments. In Norwich, he recently formed a band with friends, though he often performs solo. Participating in Ormiston’s Got Talent has been a pivotal experience, enhancing his performance skills, confidence, and motivation as a musician.

Vedika

Vedika P, conference performer

Vedika is a Year 10 student at Stoke High School in Ipswich with a deep passion for Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance form originating in the temples of Tamil Nadu over 2,000 years ago. She began learning the art at age 5 and has since achieved notable milestones, including her Salanga Pooja at age 8, securing second place in Ormiston’s Got Talent in Birmingham, and completing her Arangetram in August 2024 – a rigorous solo performance marking her transition from student to performer.

OSSMA Choir

Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy (OSSMA) Choir, made up of students from Years 7 to 11, is a talented group of students who were previously involved in their school’s January 2024 musical, Matilda. For these students, performing is a mix of passion and ambition, whether aiming for a future in the arts, building confidence, or making new friends.
